Ocean bottom node solutions
Auge (previously Seismic Partner) is an asset-light seismic company specialising in ocean bottom node (OBN) seismic. In 2020 we pioneered the hybrid seismic technique – combining streamer and ocean bottom nodes acquired simultaneously – and we’re still leading the way.
We deliver Seisnode, the world’s most compact proven OBN technology, to deliver cost-effective results across proprietary and multi-client projects. Our rightsizing approach means we match every operation to what the project actually needs – keeping costs down, reducing HSE exposure, and minimising environmental impact.
HSEQ is at the heart of everything we do. Our Operational Management System (OMS) is aligned with IOGP510 standards and helps us to manage risks and continuously improve as a company.
Our technology and competence are suitable for oil and gas exploration, CCS, geothermal surveys and offshore wind, and we’re always looking for a better way to get the job done.
The story so far
Everything we have done since 2020 is based on the idea that the seismic industry would benefit from faster, less expensive and more streamlined solutions. And that’s what we will continue to do – for oil & gas, offshore wind, CCS and more.

CEO
Per Helge has more than 20 years in seismic. At PGS he held various roles within Data Processing and Multi-Client, including heading up the Multi-Client Middle East and CIS group. In his most recent role with Magseis Fairfield he was Director of Sales Europe before joining Seismic Partner (Auge). Throughout his career he has gained extensive sales and business development experience from the international seismic market and especially the ocean bottom seismic market.
Ruben Kornmo Janssen

With 20+ years in the energy industry, Ruben now leads our business development, marketing and sales initiatives, after four years as Global VP Sales at Argeo. Holding an MSc in Geophysics, he has built his career through a broad range of roles at PGS, spanning business development management, Multi-Client, and sales, complemented by offshore experience on OBC projects.
Erik Ewig
VP Technology
Erik has over a decade of senior leadership experience in the energy industry. Here at Auge he is responsible for technology strategy, product development, and scaling next-generation ocean bottom node solutions to industry volumes. Previously, Erik held executive roles at PGS, where he oversaw the development and production of the next seismic streamer generation.
Bjørn Jensen
VP Operations
Bjørn has long experience from the industry. Among his roles is Chief Operating Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy business. Skilled in Organisational Leadership, Crisis Management, Petroleum, Operations Management, Offshore Surveying, Emergency Management, and General Offshore Management. He is a strong operations professional with an MSc focused in Applied mathematics, Computer Science, Technical Cybernetics from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Helge is VP Projects and Engineering at Odfjell Technology, where he leads a global engineering and project organisation. He previously worked as CEO/SVP at Moreld Aqua, had multiple senior leadership roles at Global Maritime Group across Europe and Asia, and experience from DNV within technical safety, risk management and international project execution. He holds an MSc in Industrial Management from the University of Stavanger, and is a certified board member through the Norwegian Institute of Directors. Helge brings strong competence in engineering-driven industries, strategy execution, and scaling of companies.
Monica Salthella
Board member
Monica is an experienced CEO and managing director, professional board member, and executive advisor from the financial, tech and industrial service industry. Her background spans strategic leadership, corporate governance, M&A and business development. She holds an Executive MBA in strategic leadership from NHH, a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College, University of London, and has completed an AI programme at Oxford University. She brings strong competence in strategy, governance and capital, and champions business models built on genuine culture and appreciation of employees.
Finn Eide
Board member
Finn is an attorney admitted to the Supreme Court of Norway and a partner at Haver Advokatfirma in Stavanger. He has over 30 years of experience as a lawyer, including 26 years as a partner at Deloitte Advokatfirma AS, where he also served as chairman of the board for more than two decades. He specialises in tax law, corporate law and M&A, particularly within the oil service sector, and has lectured in tax law at the University of Bergen and Stavanger. He currently chairs the boards of Virginia Holding, Norwegian Aviation & Defense Group and Stavanger Utvikling.
Gisle Sønstabø
Board member
17 years varied experience in leading positions with different shipowners, with main focus on commercial tasks such as chartering, contract management, operation, technical operation including class surveys, development of newbuilds, rebuilding of existing tonnage. Also five years experience as a shipbroker within both Chartering and S&P.
Sander Tegle Rørtvedt
Board member
Sander has been actively involved with Auge and Seismic Partner since start-up, contributing with an extensive people network, identifying board candidates, advising on strategy and facilitating connections with industrial partners. He has played a significant role in supporting the company in raising capital and driving company growth. Sander is a co-founder of Node Partner and has been on the Board of Directors of Auge (Seismic Partner) since 2020.
Jeroen Hoogeveen
Board member
Jeroen is our corporate advisor on technology and operations, bringing extensive experience in planning and executing seismic surveys worldwide. He is the founder of Seisnode, which is now an integrated part of Seismic Partner. He has served as CTO at Geox MCG and spent many years with PGS in senior leadership roles, including overseeing the construction of seismic vessels and managing a global fleet of 12 seismic vessels.
